Gwen Dickey

With three platinum selling albums featuring a sting of smash hits, Gwen Dickey enjoyed a period of amazing success from the late 70’s to the early 80’s. As the voice of Rose Royce, her passion and distinct style gave rise to a wealth chart topping tracks including Wishing on a Star, Is it Love You’re After and the unforgettable Car Wash.

Embarking on a solo career, Gwen found initial success after teaming up with KWS to perform Chaka Khan’s classic hit Ain’t Nobody in 1994. A few years later she was back in the UK, German and Scandinavian Charts once again, after recording a brand new version of Wishing on a Star with international rap artiste JAY-Z.

Today, with vocals as fresh as ever, Gwen Dickey maintains her position as one of the world’s leading soul vocalists. This is going to be a great show, and one that’s truly not to be missed.
