Summary
As a Flamingo land Engineer/Fitter you will install, maintain and repair Flamingo Land’s ride and attractions
Responsibilities will include
- Ride / attraction inspections
- Ride / attraction maintenance
- Fault finding / diagnosis
- Replacing mechanical components
- Replacing pneumatic/hydraulic components
- Replacing (plug-in) pressure sensors/prox sensors/switches
- Mounting/fitting photo limit sensors/switches
- Slip rings/rails/brush gear maintenance
- Parts requisition and replacement
- Following risk assessments and method statements
- Understanding hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
- Carrying out lifting operations
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness
- Maintaining a high level of safety to yourself and others around you
You will follow engineering instructions and use relevant approved diagrams when working on rides and attractions. You will also use a range of tools to calibrate, adjust, inspect and test equipment and machinery to make sure they are working correctly and safely.
