When is Flamingo Land open?

The Theme Park and Zoo is open every day until Sunday 5th November 2023.  Public access is from 10am each day, with closing times varying between 5pm and 6pm, depending on the time of year. Closing times are advertised daily on our website and at the entrance.

Can I travel to Flamingo Land without a car?

Flamingo Land is well supported by public transport. Our nearest train station is at Malton, with the Coastliner bus running a regular service directly to the Theme Park & Zoo.

Are admission tickets available online?

Online tickets are available throughout the season. Book online and in advance to get our best ticket prices though you can book online even on the day of your visit.

I cannot print out my online tickets

If you do not have access to a printer, you will need to collect your tickets on arrival from customer information or alternatively download your tickets on to your smart phone or other electronic device. You will need to provide your booking reference number, house number and postcode, along with either the card used for payment or photographic ID such as driving licence or passport.

Can I pay on arrival with a credit or debit card?

Flamingo Land welcomes PIN-verified payments using all major debit and credit cards. Unfortunately, we no longer take personal cheques. However, double signature business cheques are acceptable.

Are there cash points at Flamingo Land?

You’ll find a Barclays ATM located at the main entrance.

I have a plaster cast, can I still enjoy the rides?

Unfortunately, guests with plaster casts are unable to enjoy the majority of rides and attractions, due to the forces these generate.

Do you have disabled changing facilities?

Yes – We have disabled changing facilities located within the first aid building which incorporates an electric mobile hoist and electrically adjustable wall mounted changing bed. Users are required to supply their own slings.

Does Flamingo Land offer a group discount?

Flamingo Land is pleased to provide discount admission for groups of twenty five or more. Please contact our day tickets team for more information.

Does Flamingo Land have educational facilities for groups & schools?

Flamingo Land takes great pride in delivering a programme of formal and non-formal education for schools, groups, our visitors and the wider community. Our dedicated Education Centre has establised an excellent reputation for the quality of its talks and workshops, designed to suit a range of ages, interests and needs.

Can I return to my car once I’ve entered the Theme Park & Zoo?

All of our car parks are free, and within a five minute walk from the main entrance. You’re welcome to return to your vehicle at any point, but please remember to obtain a security stamp on your hand if you wish to regain entry.

Is Flamingo Land dog friendly?

Dogs are welcome in most areas of our theme park, but not in the zoo, Children’s Planet or Splish Splosh. However, assistance dogs have unrestricted access.

Please behave responsibly by keeping your dog on a lead at all times and cleaning up after your pet.

Are pets allowed in your holiday accommodation?

We only allow dogs in dog-friendly accommodation. You can also bring your dogs if you’re staying in your own touring caravan, motorhome or tent, for which a charge is applicable.

Do you have restaurants and cafes at the park?

Our extensive Theme Park & Zoo is sure to feed your appetite for fun and there’s a superb selection of restaurants, cafés and bars that are guaranteed to satisfy your hunger! So, from daybreak until dusk, you’ll always find a taste sensation to enjoy. With five great restaurants, plus a wealth of cafes, takeaways and bars, you can choose from satisfying Yorkshire home cooking, traditional fish & chips, pancakes, freshly filled baguettes, spicy Mexican takeaway meals and a whole lot more!

I only visit Flamingo Land to see its fantastic zoo. Do I still need to pay for the rides and attractions?

Because Flamingo Land’s theme park and zoo overlap to create a truly spectacular attraction, it’s impossible for us to offer zoo only admission during the main season. So, for true animal lovers, we provide access at a substantially reduced rate on selected dates between early December and March. These are advertised on our website shortly before our season ends.

Do you offer coach drivers free entry to the Theme Park and Zoo?

We offer free admission to coach drivers on pre-booked visits on production of a booking confirmation or official drivers job sheet.
