Arcade Assistants (Late shifts – Overs 18s only)

Description

Customer service assistants who are focused on interacting with our guests and keeping the fun rolling, late into the night, in our cashless arcades.

Your typical duties will include

  • Assisting customers with general queries including how to use the cashless Fun Cards
  • Be vigilant and ensure that customers are playing the machines in a responsible manner
  • Ensure that the Arcade and its machines machines are clean
  • All beds on the pushers are topped up with ‘swag’
  • Cranes and Prize Every Time Machines are clean, stocked up and well presented
  • All ticket machines are stocked and operational
  • The gift shop is stocked up and well presented
  • Serve in the redemption shop
  • Help maintain a clean well run stock run
  • Update all stock systems as required

Applicants for this role must be over 18 to comply with WTR & licencing regulations

Hours

Most of our seasonal roles are available on a full time and part time basis. Typically a full time role is up to 40 hours a week, our part time roles are often 16 to 24 hours a week in term times increasing during university, college and school holidays. Our busiest trading days are weekends, holidays and bank holidays therefore it is to be expected we will need our Team to be available to ensure our Guests have the experience they deserve.

Transport

We provide on site free parking. There are good local bus links into Malton, York, Pickering & Thornton Dale provided by Coastliner. There will be a direct bus from Scarborough and the enroute villages. The Tees Valley bus will have stops at Stockton, Middlesbrough, Grangetown, Redcar, Saltburn, Brotton, Skelton & Guisborough.

Accommodation

There is a good range of local accommodation providers within our immediate vicinity. Flamingo Land does not provide any onsite staff accommodation.

Interviews

We will commence online interviews from mid January 

Contract

Employment for our Summer seasonal roles will commence from mid March and continue up until the summer.

All seasonal roles will end on the 3 November 2024
