Description

Fun loving Team members helping our customers win great prizes from our Games Stalls such as

  • Treasure Hunt Derby
  • Lobster Pot
  • Hook-A-bag
  • Cat Rack
  • Hook-A-Duck
  • Can-Can
  • Dino Cat Rack
  • Peter Rabbit Milk Churns

You would work across our Games Stalls. Your typical shift would involve

  • Meeting and greeting our customers
  • Encourage guests to play on our Games Stall
  • Being knowledgeable about our the Games and Prizes
  • Offer add ons, deals, or sell related products
  • Clean and tidy your work area
  • Ensure product displays are full & well presented
  • Use the tills and take payments

Essential Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • You will need to be confident and vocal
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a front-line customer facing environment.

Day to day duties typically involve:

  • Customer Service – always smiling and making it your mission to make every guest experience a memorable one
  • Reporting any relevant information to your line manager
  • Dealing with any difficult circumstances or problems that may arise and passing them onto your managers as necessary
  • Ensuring you are adhering to all policies, guidelines and laws.
  • Filling out and filing relevant paperwork with assistance of your line manager.
  • Ensuring that the area in which you work is kept clean and tidy at all times in line with company expectations
  • Passing on and reporting of all relevant information to supervisors or managers

Hours

Most of our seasonal roles are available on a full time and part time basis. Typically a full time role is up to 40 hours a week, our part time roles are often 16 to 24 hours a week in term times increasing during university, college and school holidays. Our busiest trading days are weekends, holidays and bank holidays therefore it is to be expected we will need our Team to be available to ensure our Guests have the experience they deserve.

Transport

We provide on site free parking. There are good local bus links into Malton, York, Pickering & Thornton Dale provided by Coastliner. There will be a direct bus from Scarborough and the enroute villages. The Tees Valley bus will have stops at Stockton, Middlesbrough, Grangetown, Redcar, Saltburn, Brotton, Skelton & Guisborough.

Accommodation

There is a good range of local accommodation providers within our immediate vicinity. Flamingo Land does not provide any onsite accommodation.

Interviews

We will commence interviews from mid January
