Set in 375 acres of stunning North Yorkshire countryside, Flamingo Land Resort delivers unforgettable days out for Guests of all ages – thrills, laughs, prizes and memories included!
Roll up, roll up… our Games Stall Hosts are right at the heart of the fun! You’ll be working across the Resort, inviting Guests to test their skills, show their aim and try to win some brilliant prizes at our fantastic Games Stalls including:
- Treasure Hunt Derby
- Lobster Pot
- Hook-A-Bag
- Hook-A-Duck
- Can-Smash
New games for 2026 will include:
- Basketball
- Rollerball
- Plus more to come…
What will you be doing?
You’ll work across our Games Stalls and your typical shift will involve:
- Meeting and greeting our Guests with energy and enthusiasm
- Encouraging Guests to have a go and join in the fun
- Knowing your games and prizes inside out
- Keep your stall clean, tidy and looking tip-top
- Ensuring product displays are full and eye-catching
- Taking payments accurately and confidently

Essential Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong customer service skills
- Confidence and a vocal personality to attract and encourage Guests
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work in a frontline, Guest-facing environment
Day to day duties typically involve:
- Customer Service – always smiling and making it your mission to create magical Guest experiences
- Reporting any relevant information to your Line Manager
- Handling tricky situations calmly and passing them to Managers when needed
- Following all policies, guidelines and legal requirements
- Completing and filing paperwork with support from your Line Manager
- Keeping your working area clean and tidy at all times

Hours:
Most of our seasonal roles are available on a full-time or part-time basis. Full-time roles are typically up to 40 hours per week, while part-time roles are usually 16–24 hours per week during term time, increasing during university, college and school holidays.
Our busiest times are weekends, school holidays and bank holidays, so availability during these periods is essential to ensure our Guests have the experience they deserve.
Transport:
We offer free on-site parking.
There are excellent local bus links into Malton, York, Pickering and Thornton Dale via Coastliner.
The Tees Valley bus serves Stockton, Middlesbrough, Grangetown, Redcar, Saltburn, Brotton, Skelton and Guisborough.
Accommodation:
There is a good range of local accommodation providers nearby. Flamingo Land does not offer on-site accommodation.

At Flamingo Land, we cross train our Team Members across multiple areas of the Resort, helping you grow your skills, boost your confidence and open doors for future career development.
Interviews for the new season will begin in February 2026. Our friendly Recruitment Team will contact you for an initial telephone chat, and if successful, you’ll be invited to a face-to-face interview with one of our Department Managers.
Interviews typically last around 30 minutes and include a few competency-based questions. If all goes well, you’ll join us for an induction day where we’ll get you Resort Ready!
Induction days are fun-filled, packed with facts and designed to set you up for success.
Roles will begin in March and run through until 1 November 2026.
